Chesterbrook Academy Yard Sale

What a beautiful day for a yard sale!  And when the vending fee is only $5 its makes the deal that much sweeter.

I took to CBA in Germantown today with all my summer baby clothes in tow.  Normally, I vend at the Germantown Flea Market, but this was a great opportunity to switch it up.  I sold newborn to 2 year clothing.  My biggest sale of the day was from a group of ladies who said 'We send the clothes home to Dominican Republic for families there'.  Amen to that.

Since I am clearing clutter in my house, the items were priced to sale. Nothing over $2!  What a wonderful day to vend.

Some of the proceeds from the event went toward the kids end of year party.  The remainder of mine is going towards my office remodel.  Off to look at tiles at Home Depot!

Safeway - Diaper Clearance Deal

How often do you checkout the clearance section in the grocery store?  If your answer is never, then my response is STOP THE MADNESS!!!

I just scored 4 jumbo bags of Good Nite's exclusive design underwear for $1.99 per pack.  For those who purchase these you know that they cost $11 per pack, so this deal was insane!!!

Not only are there Good Nite's there, but huggies snugglers, pull ups for boys and girls and boxes of huggies diapers...all 50% off.  Stack the clearance deal with manufacturers coupons, store coupons and just for you personal deals to save a bundle.

Some of the packs have $2 off peelies.  Plus the Catalina is spitting out a $1.50 off coupon at checkout.  I did three transactions and walked out with one extra Catalina since two of my bags had $2 off peelies.

There was much more there like new mans cookies, back to nature crackers, canned foods but the diapers were the biggest deal for me.

Load up your Safeway card, clip your Huggies Coupons and head out, but keep in mind all stores are different and may not have the same items on clearance.

Run!!!

$.99 CVS Diapers Jumbo Pack

Meet my $.99 diapers.  I have grown to love CVS diapers.  Not because they are less expensive before coupons compared to the major brands, but because they have proven to be just as durable as the leading brands.  So far, no leaks or tears on my rough and tumble two year old.

So how did this happen?  Can you score this deal yourself?  Well, not until this deal rolls back around in the next 6 weeks or so AND if the $2 off CVS coupon is still available.

Without coupons, you'd pay $6.99.  I use size 4 diapers now, so we get 27 diapers for $6.99.  That is a great deal on its own.  But stack it with the CVS $2 off store coupon and you bring your price down to $4.99 per jumbo pack.  You'll also get back a $2 EBuck to use on your next purchase.  CVS allowed each customer to purchase 3 packs of the diapers and receive back the $2 EBuck each time (for a total of $6 in EBucks) .  You can purchase the 3 packs of diapers in once transaction or in 3 separate.  Since I was going for lowest out of pocket expense, I did 3 separate transactions.

I purchased one jumbo pack and used the $2 off CVS coupon.  I got back $2 in EBucks.  I took the $2 in Ebucks + $2 off CVS coupon and purchased another jumbo pack at $2.99.  I then received a $2 EBuck for my purchase.  Making the diapers $.99!

Now, will the $2 CVS coupons fall out of the sky and into your hand when  you go to score the deal.  NO!!!  You must put forth some effort and go to CVS.com/coupons and print the coupon, then clip it and remember to take it with you to the store.  Once you do that, its smooth sailing because the $2EBuck prints right at the register on your receipt.

I'll keep you posted when this deal comes around again.

Love you with the love of Christ!

Home Depot - Boston Ferns on Sale

I love Boston Ferns.  Each year I look for the best deals on them so I can hang two or three from my back deck.  Normally I find the giant ferns at Home Depot for $9.99 a bit closer to summer.  Imagine my delight when I spotted these freshly watered babies reduced from $14.98 to $6.88.  Grabbed two quick.

Something about Boston ferns reminds me of sipping tea on the porch with my Nana. So I got two, one for her and one for me.
